Congratulations!  You have a new website!  "NOW WHAT?", you may ask.  Well, we wouldn't leave you in the dark!  Here are some basic tips for promoting your website!

Use Traditional Media

• Include your company website address in all of your print media...for example, newspapers ads, phone book ads and listings, listings with your local chamber of commerce, trade journals, etc.  This grabs people's attention, and directs them to your web site for more information. 

Promote Staff Awareness

• Is your staff familiar with your website?  Are they aware of the purpose and information contained within your website? They should be able to refer a customer to your website for additional information, for placing orders, or to purchase products or services online. 

Marketing Collateral

• Include your company web site address on all marketing material - brochures, pens, business cards, stationery, invoices, bills, comment cards, signs, vehicles, etc.
• Include your web site address in your email signature when you send emails
• Include your web site address in press releases, and suggest to journalists that they visit your website for more information
